Pratley: Must Not Get Carried Away

Darren Pratley turned out a man of the match performance in the 3-2 win over league rivals Leeds United

The hard working midfielder has been one of the pivotal players in Swansea City's unbeaten form that seen the club lose only one game since the end of September.

Pratley has also scored vital goals and has already tripled his goal tally from last season. With that in mind who would bet against him adding to that tally by the end of May.

Even though The Liberty Stadium outfit are sitting top of the league one pile the midfielder is wary that the club keep their feet firmly on the ground.

The former Brentford player will see a change in the heart of the Swansea midfielder over the coming weeks as Ferrie Bodde will be out for 5 games after seing a straight red card after a challenge on Whites midfielder Johnathan Howson.

Pratley Told The Western Mail

'"The only thing I`m thinking about is the next game - and that`s Swindon.'

We`re five points clear after the weekend but no-one at Swansea is getting carried away by that.'

Of course, being top is where we want to be but there`s a very long way to go."

Nothing wrong with the fans getting excited but at least we have had 2 very important players stating thast they are keeping their feet on the ground. Lets hope Monk and Pratley are true to their word.
