Parker Set To Sign For Swansea?

A national newspaper has linked Blackpool's Scottish striker Keigan Parker with a move to the Liberty Stadium after failing to hold down a starting place at Bloomfeild road.

The Scott has made 23 appearances for the Seasiders this term but has failed to score for the newly promoted Lancashire side.

The striker is firmly out of favor with Pool manager Simon Grayson after his off feild problems.

Parker has faced charges regarding an incident in which he had intimidated staff at Desires a massage parlour on Cookson Street in the city. He had admitted causing £275 worth of damage at the palour and was ordered to pay the same figure in damages and costs.

The former St Johnston player had been subject to a bid from Swansea in the summer transfer window after impressing Roberto Martinez in the 6-3 demolition on the last day of the season last term.

Could be a very good signing, he's a former man utd trainee too i think.

Hope the off-field problems was a one off. Did score some good goals against us last may.

Good player proven at this level, would be a good signing. Shame about the off field incident but I think RM would be able to sort him out. I don't know why but I think RM would be good at that.

If he does sign I sincerly hope Martinez can curb his wayward ways.

This is from sky sports, for Parker 5: Below Average - Some faults, out-of-touch. "We provide our own skysports.com player ratings and we also give you the reader the opportunity to mark the stars. Player ratings are featured on each match report that appears on the site during the season and you can also see a players average rating on their player profile."

how much would this guy cost?

There was concern about Bodde before he joined and he has turned out better than we could have imagined i think its a case of trusting Roberto if this does come to fruition.

Spot on Barry, I think RM brings the best out of his players.
