Collins Returns To Swansea

Youngster Matty Collins has returned to Swansea after a loan spell at league two side Wrexham.

The Welsh under 21 international has been unable to secure first team action so far this term.

The midfielder had featured in some of Swansea City's pre season friendlies.

With first team opportunities few and far between Collins was loaned to Wrexham to gain much needed match fitness and first team experience.

Collins has played 3 games for the Racecourse outfit. He featured in the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Shrewsbury Town and in the 0-0 draw against Wycombe Wanderers at the Racecourse.

The former Fulham man also gained FA Cup experience in the Dragons 4-1 defeat vs Peterborough United at London Road.

The midfielder could make his first team competitive début in the FAW Premier Cup match against Newport County

Still don't know what to think about him - was it a good signing or not? I'd like to see him prove himself in a competitive match.
