Sky To Broadcast Horsham Replay?

Sky Sports could broadcast Swansea City's 2nd round replay at the Liberty Stadium should Chasetown's Scholars Ground fail the broadcasters technical inspection.

Representatives from the broadcaster were today assessing the feasibility of Chastown being able to host their cameras and considerable technical equipment.

The non league side will face leauge one basement outfit Port Vale after earning a shock replay thanks to a 44th minute strike from defender Mark Branch.

Should the Scholars Ground fail Sky's inspection Swansea City's replay will be moved to Monday 10th December.

This would give the club a surprise £75,000 windfall from the Football Association broadcast fund.

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has not endeared himself to the broadcaster after he had claimed that Sky had put undue pressure on both clubs into playing the 2nd round tie at the Atspeed Stadium;Despite concerns over the poor conditions of the Hornets pitch the game went ahead.

The decision is expected tomorrow at the earliest

Would be good. The extra money that we would recieve would mean that the club would lose no money in making the tickets cheaper for the game.

Hang on, are Swansea too good to rough it? Look at the BBC game Sunday gone, Harrogate Railway managed it and their ground is in the middle of a park!!
