De Vries All Clear To Play Tonight

Yes it may be our third article on the subject in 2 days, but goalkeeper Dorus De Vries is fit to play in tonight's FA Cup Second round tie at Horsham.

The Dutchman picked up a worrying knee injury during Tuesday's 1-0 home win against Hartlepool, and with Knight also injured, Martinez could have been left with only youth 'keepers for tonight's game.

Fortunately though, De Vries came through a late training session last night unscathed and is looking for his sixth clean sheet of the season when he faces Horsham this evening.

Physion Richard Evans told our Official Site:

'We took Dorus for an MRI scan and a consultation yesterday afternoon where he was given the all clear,''

'We changed his training routine last night and he came through okay, which is great news.''
