Bauza Hopes For First League Start

After scoring 3 goals in 2 games lately, Guillem Bauza is hoping he's earned his first league start of the season.

The Spanish striker has found league opportunities hard to come by since joining this Summer from Espanyol, even finding it difficult to make the bench with Scotland, Duffy and Feeney all ahead of him in the pecking order.

"He is on form let him have a pop at the Terriers."
His goals in the last 2 matches have won us those games. He scored both in a 2-1 FA Cup win at Billericay last weekend and grabbed the only goal in the 1-0 win against Yeovil in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Warren Feeney returns tomorrow night as we face Huddersfield at the Liberty Stadium, so Bauza may still have to wait his chance, plus Martinez has all his strikers available.

Guillem Bauza told the Evening Post:

'I am keeping my fingers crossed,'

'When I first came here, I really wanted to score my first goal. After that I wanted to score important goals, and now I want to score in the league.

'I'm just waiting for a chance. Hopefully it will come tomorrow and, if it does, I will try to grab it with my hands.

'If not, I will just keep on working hard.'

'I believe I can score goals in League One,'

'I wouldn't say I've been frustrated at not playing, just not happy because I want to start every game.

'To score some goals has been nice, but they are not everything. You can still play well without scoring, and every day since I've been here I have been trying to show the gaffer that I want to play in every game.'

Should Bauza start tomorrow night at home to Huddersfield? What would your striker pairing be?
