The Striker commonly known as Bussy has spoken out about the hard fought win at The New Lodge and has heaped praise on his non league counterparts.
After securing safe passage from the 1st round of the FA Cup, attentions turned to the 2nd round draw in FA Headquarters in Soho Square yesterday.
The Liberty Stadium outfit were drawn away to another Ryman Premier Division outfit Horsham FC. The Hornets secured safe passage into the 2nd round of thanks courtesy of a resounding 4-1 win over Maidenhead United.
Should the South Wales club secure passage into the 3rd round the Spanish striker is relishing a possible tie vs Liverpool and a chance to play against his former Spanish U-20's team mate Fernando Torres.
Guillem Bauza
told The Evening Post:
| '''It would be fantastic to play against Liverpool.' It would not just be because of Fernando Torres - it would be great just to come up against a Premiership side because we want to show everybody that we are a good squad.' Every day in training and every match gives you a chance to show the manager what you can give to the team, and maybe he will have a bit more confidence in me now.' I will be straight on the phone to my family in Majorca to tell them about the goals.' They know I have not been having a good time because I haven't played as much as I wanted to. Maybe they will go to the beach to celebrate.' |
