Robinson Out For 10 Days

Robinson Out For 10 Days

Andy Robinson will be sidelined for around 10 days after picking up a leg injury during last night's game.

The midfielder returned to the starting line-up as the Swans faced Millwall at the New Den but he was brought off after just 33 minutes.

Physio Richard Evans says they hope to bring him back a week Friday when we face Huddersfield at home:

"Robbo has a badly bruised heel,''

"It's nothing too serious and we will be hoping to get him back for the home game against Huddersfield a week on Friday.''

Robinson may not miss any League action if he does return for the Huddersfield game. He'll only be out for Saturday's FA Cup tie at Billericay and Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy quarter-final at home to Yeovil.

Roberto Martinez also explained what happened and said:

'He jumped for a header and when he landed his foot came down awkwardly,'

'Straight away we knew something was wrong with him; he could be out for two to three weeks but we'll have to assess it once we get back.'

Other players who are sidelined are Ferrie Bodde (hip), Darren Pratley (1 match ban), Darren Way (hamstring) and Warren Feeney (2 match ban.)
