Anderson: 'We Can Beat Anyone'

Paul Anderson says how the squad is full of confidence ahead of tonight's match away at Millwall.

"He's improving every game and he'll continue to do so"
The Swans will be looking for their first away win against the Lions since 1930, and Anderson says the squad is confident they can beat anyone in this division.

The Liverpool scored his 7th goal for the club in just 10 games, making him our joint top scorer along with Jason Scotland.

He told the Evening Post:

'We feel like we can beat anyone, anywhere at the moment,'

'We are battling and we are playing some good football when we go away from home and we're not frightened of anyone in the division.

'We're winning games and that means we're going to places full of confidence.'

Swansea travel to Millwall on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Gillingham Friday night, and Anderson also shared his views on that game:

'The performance was brilliant,' reckons Anderson. 'Whether we'd won, lost or drawn the game, the fact is we put in a great second half and we were happy with that.

'We were unlucky not to win it late on with the penalty, but we were still happy with the way we performed.

'After the game everyone - apart from Andy Robinson maybe - was feeling as if we'd won.

'It was a weird feeling considering we'd only taken one point and we feel we should be winning games at home.'

'The manager said to us at half-time that everyone was expecting us to lose, but he said we could go out and win and we very nearly did,'

'He just told us to show our character and I think we did that.

Whilst the results haven't been good enough at home, it's away where we've been most successful.

Our last away defeat was at Leeds on September 22nd and since then, we've won every away game, scoring 11 goals in the process.

The side has recently shown confidence and it is good to see they believe that they can win.

they don't have so much confidence at the start of home games though. we can't seem to perform in the first half of home games, then martinez gets us pumped up for the second half. that needs to be put right.

I've got the solution! Martinez should give his half time team talki before the biggining of the game. We allways play better in the second half at home!
