Another Award For Swansea City?

Another Award For Swansea City?

Dorus De Vries could make it a Swansea double of awards as he's on the shortlist for the League's October Player of the Month award.

The Dutch goalkeeper has been in excellent form and he won our September Player of the Month poll. He is also a nominee for our poll for October.

Following Martinez winning League One Manager of the Month, De Vries could make it a Swansea double of League One awards this month but he faces stiff competition from Jonathan Douglas (Leeds), Kris Commons (Nottm Forest) and Joe Garner (Carlisle).

The winner of the award will be announced on Monday November 5th at around 7pm on the Big League Weekend 2 on Sky Sports 1.

Our success has been due to his brilliant display. It will be well deserved.

Allthough we have scored plenty of goals it is De Vries who is providing the platform for us to push foreward. He deserves it!
