Craney Recalled From Stanley

Roberto Martinez has recalled Ian Craney from his loan spell at Accrington Stanley.

The midfielder had suffered a hamstring injury during his loan spell at his former club.

Craney had played for Stanley's reserve team last night against Burnley in the Pontins Holidays League Division One West.

The midfielder has scored 2 goals for Stanley, the latest coming last weekend in the 2-2 draw against Barnet.

Having scored a couple of goals, he will now have built up some confidence. Also, he returns to a side unbeaten in the month of October. Therefore, with goals coming from all positions, the pressure to score will be lifted, should he play.
