Youth Beat Merthyr 3-1

The Swansea Youth side progress to the FAW Youth Cup 3rd round after beating Merthyr Youth 3-1.

Oliver Hewitt-Fisher scored twice and Casey Thomas scored our third to give us a 3-1 win.

Hewitt-Fisher got his first goal after just 9 minutes from the penalty spot. Joe Harris was brought down in the box by Hamza Ayanlet and Hewitt-Fisher sent the keeper the wrong way to put us a goal in front.

We were ahead for just 3 minutes however as Marcus Griffiths headed the ball in from Ayanlet's cross.

Hewitt-Fisher put us back in front on 65 minutes when he coolly slotted the ball in. Thomas then put the game beyond any doubt deep into injury time having going through on goal.

Swans: Callum Hawthorne; Daniel Sheehan, David Kingdom (James Burgin, 73'), Karl Keogh, Jamie Grimes, Jaz Richards, Keiron Howard, Dion Chambers, Oliver Hewitt-Fisher, Joe Harris (Ben Addlesbury, 81'), Casey Thomas.

Not used: Matthew Wright.

Ref: Kris Hames (Aberaman)

Vital Swansea have teamed up with Codemasters to give away 3 copies of Colin McRae's DiRT game in our new competition.

The game is available for PS3, XBOX360 and PC and the winners have a choice of which format they'd like their game in.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply guess the attendance of Friday night's home game against Gillingham.
