Anderson: Best Is Yet To Come

On-loan Liverpool winger Paul Anderson says the best is yet to come from him this season.

Despite a string of excellent performances recently with the absence of Andy Robinson, Paul says he's still improving game by game.

The 19 year-old is the club's joint top scorer with 6 goals and he told the Western Mail:

'It's definitely a case of my best is yet to come,'

'The more games I play, the better I get.

'I still haven't performed as well as I can. I need to get a little bit more consistency into my game.

'I didn't think I put in a great performance against Bournemouth. But hopefully I can bounce back at Yeovil.

'It would be nice to pull something out the bag and help us get a win. Hopefully I will be in the squad and start the game.'

'It's nice to be joint top scorer, especially being a winger,'

'It's always good to get goals and people look at it favourably if you are a midfielder who can join in and score goals.

'But, more importantly, it's just good for us to get the wins and be up near the top of the table.'

Anderson struggled to get first team starts early on in the season as Robinson was chosen on the left wing with Britton on the right.

Both players have been out injured lately and Anderson and Butler have stepped up and have an equally good job recently.
