Martinez Boosted As 5 Return

Roberto Martinez will receive a big boost this Saturday as 5 players have declared themselves fit to play.

First teamers Darryl Duffy, Leon Britton, Andy Robinson, Alan Tate and Owain Tudur-Jones are all in contention this weekend as Hartlepool visit the Liberty Stadium.

"both way and otj when fit can fight for a place in the team."

The Swans have reached the top of the League following impressive away wins at Leyton Orient (5-0) and Bournemouth (4-1), despite having a number of key players out.

It's unlikely that any of them will feature in the first team as I can't see Martinez changing his winning side.

All 5 will find it difficult to find a place in the starting 11. Rangel has taken over at right back ahead of Tate, Feeney's is scoring frequently to keep Duffy out, wingers Butler and Anderson are also doing very well to keep Britton and Robinson out.

Tudur-Jones meanwhile has been out of action for nearly a year and will find it tough to get a place ahead of Ferrie Bodde and Darren Pratley in centre midfield.

Physio Richard Evans told the Evening Post:

'All five have been working hard with no reactions,'

'They are back in full training now with a view to being available for Saturday.'

Should Martinez make any changes to his winning side on Saturday?

Good news. Martinez will now be spoilt for choice. If we are playing well in the next few games, then we will be able to ease these players back into league action for the last 10/15 minutes of a game.
