"I'd sign him, too premature maybe but our forward line seems more balanced with him in it"
The Northern Ireland international has been a revelation in the Swansea attack after his loan move from bitter rivals Cardiff City. Faced with strong criticism from the Liberty Stadium fan base; Feeney has spurred the club to wins vs Leyton Orient and a match winning goal in the 75th minute vs Swindon Town.

The former Bournemouth striker returned to Dean Court yesterday to face his former employers.Swansea City took the early lead with a free kick from Dutchman Ferrie Bodde. The midfielder's 25 yard effort sailed past Neil Moss into the top left hand corner to send Swansea 1-0 up inside 14 minutes.

Defender Dennis Lawrence put Swansea City into a 2 goal lead in the 27th minute . The Home side earned a penalty just 2 minutes later when Dennis Lawrence was adjujed to have fouled midfielder Danny Hollands inside the box. Striker Lee Bradbury made no mistake from the spot as he fired the ball past Dorus DeVries into the Swansea goal.

Swansea were under pressure early on in the 2nd half but made their quality show when Joshua Gowling fouled Dennis Lawrence in the Bournemouth penalty area. On Loan striker Warren Feeney stepped up to take the resulting penalty.Feeney coolly put it past Neil Moss who should have done better to save the goal.

The former Bournemouth striker then made it 4-1 to the visitors after a cutting pass by Darren Prately through the Bournemouth defense was well controlled by Feeney.

The striker out paced his marker and sent a low drive past Moss to send the travelling Swansea City supporters into rapturous applause.

Despite his brace Feeney was critical of the performance against Bournemouth and suggested that there was room for improvement.

Feeney told the Evening Post:

'We didn't play well, everyone knows that, but we have got that mentality at the moment where we know we are going to be hard to beat.'

We felt we were hard done by with the penalty decision, but we know we are capable of scoring goals and we got on with it.'

Although I thought Bournemouth were superb in the second half, we knew it was over once we got the penalty and we're sitting nicely now at the top of the league.'

After the arrivals of Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to Ninian park the striker believes his opportunities will be limited with the Bluebirds.

Feeney told the Evening Post:

''Swansea are a good club who are on the up and I'm starting to feel at home now.'

It's a good squad with a lot of enthusiasm and I'm really enjoying my football at the moment. Anything permanent will be up to the two clubs, but it's going to be hard for me to get in at Cardiff with Jimmy (Floyd Hasselbaink) and Robbie (Fowler) there.'

The Swansea fans have been great with me. They gave me a standing ovation on my d├ębut even though I didn't play that well and it's great to hear them calling me what they were calling me here.'

Whilst reports suggest this maybe a precursor to a permanent move Feneey could have put himself in the shop window for a switch to another club.

The Striker is expected to Start on Saturday when 7th placed Hartlepool United are the visitors to The Liberty Stadium.

If onlay other teams had the confidence to attack us when we are at home. That way there would be more room and we would be able to pla the way we did against Orient and Bournemouth. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and we may even be able to score at home aswell.

4 goals in 3 starts is very good form. Feeney has settled in well into the side. I am sure we will see a lot more goals from him.
