Good News For Injured Pratley

Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley has received some good news after sustaining a suspected broken leg against Wycombe Wandererslast night. The midfeilder was taken immediately after the incident to Morriston Hospital for scans.

The Former Brentford Midfeilder was involved in a clash with team-mate Guillem Bauza during last night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy match at home to Wycombe Wanderers.

The incident occurred when Bauza and Prately clashed in the centre circle. Prately immediately went to ground clutching his leg; Swansea City Physio Richie Evans immediately after assessing Prately called for the Stretcher team.

Prately then was stretchered off from the field of play to an ovation from the majority of the Liberty Stadium crowd.

Physio Richard Evans told the Evening Post of his medical assessment:

'It doesn't look as bad as we first thought.

'There is no break showing up on the initial x-ray and hopefully it is nothing more than badly bruised.

'We'll have another look on Wednesday morning and assess the injury again.

'But I'm pleased to say that Darren was able to leave hospital on Tuesday night on crutches and hopefully he'll be okay.''

Martinez has the likes of Kristian O'Leary and Joe Allen available along with Andy Robinson who's on his way back from injury.

Who should replace Darren Pratley in centre midfield?
