'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Get Back Down The Liberty!

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has called out for another big crowd tomorrow night when Wycombe visit the Liberty Stadium.

After all the negativity last week, the Swans answered their critics in perfect style with a crushing 5-0 win away at Leyton Orient, knocking them off top spot.

Jenkins is now looking for the fans to flood back into the stadium turnstiles and says that we need to all pull together to see success here at Swansea City Football Club.

In an interview with tomorrow's Matchday programme, he said:

'Together we can achieve success for Swansea City,''

'But without everyone pulling together, it will take a lot longer and make it a lot harder to compete.''

'Our attendance for the first round was the highest in the competition and just goes to show what a strong base of support we are starting to build - and long may it continue.

'Climbing within two points of the leaders, it's time we really began to look at ourselves and start to appreciate what we have at Swansea City.

'At the moment there seems to be a certain amount of negativity surrounding our football club.

'What I would really like to see is everyone pulling together and giving 100 per cent support to our manager and our team - and 'let the football do the talking'.'

Under-16s can get in free tomorrow with a paying adult.

Both the team and the fans should do their talking with their feet! We should turn up in the greatest number possible for everygame we can and the players just have to make sure that they perform well and get as many points as possible in every game they play. That will keep the fans happy and when the fans are happy and turning up the club will be getting the money through the gates that they need!
