Pratley: 'We Won't Get Carried Away'

Darren Pratley insists the team won't get carried away after Saturday's 5-0 win at Leyton Orient.

The midfielder got in on the act with what he hopes was a goal of his own as his 25-yard volley came off the goalkeeper's head and into the back of the net. Some claim it was an own goal but he thinks it's definitely his!

''It's definitely mine,''

''I don't get that many so I'm having that. I hit it, it was on target and I don't care what anyone says. The ref has got to give it to me - I will take it to court if I have to!''

''The manager said to us that this game would determine whether we are going to be up there challenging this season,''

''He thought when we went to Leeds a couple of weeks back that we were waiting for things to happen and he stressed that you have to come to the sides who are top of the league and perform.

''We did that at Orient. We took the game to them and we're delighted to win it 5-0. It's not so much a message to the rest of the league, it's a message to ourselves.

''We won't get carried away - I remember we won at Brentford last season when they were the early leaders, so we're not going to get too excited.

''But this result is a great boost for us. The boys deserve a lot of credit, and hopefully it will be a case of onwards and upwards from now on.''

The Swans face Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow night at 7pm at the Liberty Stadium in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Next in the league is a trip to Bournemouth next Sunday at 2pm.
