Martinez: 'Still A Long Way To Go'

Roberto Martinez keeps calm and doesn't get too excited after today's impressive 5-0 away win against Leyton Orient.

His side knocked Ling's side off the top of the table as we go within 2 points of leaders Tranmere.

Martinez says his side started the game where they left off on Tuesday against Swindon:

'We carried on where we left off against Swindon on Tuesday,''

'We showed the same determination and unity and that allowed our talent to shine.

'At half-time I reminded the players that they needed to stamp their authority on the game and be themselves a bit more.

'It is difficult to come to a top of the league side and do that. But that's what we did.

'We got off to a great start with Tom Butler's opener. It was a fantastic goal. Tom is a player who is exciting to watch and his ability with both feet makes him something very special.

'But there's still a long way to go though. We have to keep working and when some of the players return from injury, we'll have a very strong and competitive squad all fighting for places.''
