Robinson Hoping For Orient Return

Andy Robinson is hoping he can win a race to be fit for Saturday's trip to League leaders Leyton Orient.

by willow
'I would give Robinson an extra week to recover.'
The midfielder has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the Cheltenham game on September 18th.

Leon Britton also picked up the same injury in the same game, but unfortunately for him he faces two more weeks out of action.

'I've trained today and I'm hoping to come through a fitness test on Friday.

'To come back from a hamstring injury in 20 days is quite good, but it's still been frustrating missing games.

'I'm hoping to be involved on Saturday because Leyton Orient is always a tough place to go. They've had a great start, but we are a match for anyone.''

Swansea have missed Robinson's influence in attack recently and he'd be a big boost on Saturday if he was fit to play.

However, he shouldn't be risked as Darryl Duffy will spend 7-10 days out after making a surprise return on Tuesday after recovering from a groin strain.

What we don't want is more players spending longer than they should on the sidelines.
