Good News For Injured Craney

Ian Craney can continue his loan spell at Accrington Stanley despite his hamstring injury.

The Swansea midfielder was carried off the pitch after just 11 minutes as Stanley beat Bradford 3-0, and it was first feared that he'd be sidelined for up to two months, which would have meant a premature end to his spell at his former club.

However, according to their official site, he is expected to make a quick recovery and should be back within a week or two.

It would have been a disappointment all round if his loan came to an end. He needs some regular match practise and Martinez will also want him playing regularly during his spell, which ends in January.

Craney began his loan well at Stanley, putting in a man of the match performance at Bury, playing up front for the League 2 side.

Vital Swansea will be tracking his time at The Fraser Eagle Stadium and will be reporting more updates during his stay.

will be disappointing for him if his loan comes to an end. theres 2 totally different stories on his injury, 1 saying he's out for 10 weeks and their official site saying he'll make a quick recovery.
