Robinson & Britton Out For 2 Weeks

Both Andy Robinson and Leon Britton will be sidelined for 2 weeks after picking up hamstring injuries during tonight's game.

The news comes as a huge blow to Roberto Martinez ahead of the toughest trip of the season to Leeds United.

Swansea City came back from conceding an early goal to score 2 in the second half to claim another 3 points.

Scotland got the first and Robinson hit a 25 yard strike to get the winner before his injury late on.

Robinson was one of Swansea's key players tonight down the left wing but Martinez has the likes of Paul Anderson and Tom Butler to come in to replace them.

Physio Richard Evans says he hopes the duo will be back on October 2nd:

Both Andy and Leon have got hamstring strains and we're hoping to get them back for the game against Swindon on October 2,"

dissapointing to see them miss our biggest game of the season but we have good replacements in anderson and butler has also looked good when coming on.

yep. its sad to see both our first choice wingers out, buts it will be nice to see anderson and butler have a chance.

i think anderson is quality and it will be interesting to see which side these 2 players go on, both can playe on either wing...What about orlandi. He should be in with a call

It is a shame that they are going to miss out but it is a great chance for both Butler and Anderson as they have had to play second fiddle to Britton and Robinson this season. Big game on saturday though so we must be prepared.

Bit of a pity, but it will give us a chance to start some of the player that haven't been starting this season.

Anderson And Butler are just as good as robinson and britton i think if anderson plays he will do very well and butler has shown how good he is already. But Orlandi could be in for a start aswell

i think RM is still bedding orlandi in, he probably doesn't think he's ready yet though we need him down the left, beating full backs and getting quality crosses into the box.
