OTJ & Way Set For Reserves Return

Owain Tudor-Jones and Darren Way are both finally set to return from their long-term injuries.

The midfield duo are set to feature in tomorrow night's Reserve match against Cheltenham at Port Talbot (7pm).

Both players haven't played in a year nearly and it'll be a huge boost for Martinez to have these 2 players available soon.

He told the Evening Post:

'Darren and Owain are both down to play and it's going to be a fantastic day,'

'They've worked really hard and they're nearly there now and, if they can play 40 or 45 minutes tomorrow, that will be tremendous.

'They're two fantastic characters, both leader material, and to have them back involved will be a massive boost.

'They will come back stronger mentally and more mature, but we cannot rush them.

'It takes a while when you've been out for so long and we need to be sure that when they are back, they are back for the long term.'

Tudur-Jones had major problems with his knee and had to be flown out to America for surgery that was required to save his career.

Way meanwhile has hardly featured at all in the Swansea side since his move in January 2006 and has been plagued with injuries ever since he arrived.

Both players have the potential to compete for a starting place in midfield, and while many fans have labeled Way our most pointless signing, he is an excellent player to have when he's free of injuries and fully fit.

Tudur-Jones has also shown potential at such a young age and he'll only continue to improve during his time here.

That can only be good news for you and a boost for your squad.

Great to see OTJ back think he is worthy of at least a place on the bench, maybe even replacing Pratley.
