'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Allen Could Return For Leeds Trip
Roberto Martinez has received a boost this week with the news that Joe Allen could return as early as next weekend to face Leeds United.
The youngster suffered an injury during Friday night's game at home to Carlisle as he made his full League debut.
Martinez said:
| 'It's a lot better than we thought,'' 'Thankfully it's not ligament damage. 'He took three or four hard challenges and is very sore, but we are only looking at three or four days maximum before he can return to training. He could even be available for selection against Leeds.'' |
Ferrie Bodde also returns for the Leeds game after a 3-match ban.
