Swansea Draw Wycombe In JPT

Swansea City face Wycombe at home in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Second Round.

The draw was made this morning on Sky Sports' SoccerAM show.

The fixture means that Swansea will be reunited with former left back/winger Tommy Williams, who joined the League 2 side at the start of the season.

Johnstone's Paint Trophy 2nd round draw:

Northern Section:
Wrexham / Macclesfield v Stockport
Carlisle v Chester
Morecambe v Port Vale
Rochdale v Bury
Doncaster v Oldham
Darlington v Leeds
Lincoln City v Hartlepool
Rotherham v Grimsby.

Southern Section:
Hereford v Yeovil
Bristol Rovers v Bournemouth
Swindon v Cheltenham
Swansea v Wycombe
MK Dons v Peterborough
Brighton v Barnet
Leyton Orient v Dagenham & Redbridge
Gillingham v Luton.

This match is likely to be played on Tuesday 9th October at 7pm, but this is yet to be confirmed.

We asked fans on our message forum yesterday whether they would us like to do well in this competition or would they prefer us to concentrate solely on the League.

What are your views on this? The 6-man rule means we must field 6 first-teamers, but progressing through this competition could affect our promotion chances.

What are your views on this? Will you be bothered if you lose in the next round?

Nice draw for us. We seem to be doing well with cup draws these days! We couldn't buy a home game last year!
