Cheltenham vs Swansea Postponed

Swansea City's Match with Cheltenham Town on Friday night has been postponed due to international call ups.

Three Swansea City players have been called up for international duty. Joe Allen and Shaun McDonald have been called up by Brian Flynn for the U-21 Squad to face France.

Whilst new loan Striker Warren Feeney has been called up by Nigel Worthington to the Northern Ireland team to face Latvia.

The Game will now be played on Tuesday 18th September at 7.45pm.

ffs, i doubt those players would even play on friday night. was that by our request?

under uefa regulations if three players are on international duty then the game can be postponed.

strange decision, id have thought that only allen would have been in contention anyway. plus it would have been a good chance to get back on track sooner after saturday's result

it says tues 18th. stupid decision though, that means we play 2 tough away games in 4 days whereas we coul have played 2 diff teams this week.
