Should Allen Replace Bodde?

With Ferrie Bodde suspended for the next 3 games, we ask you, the fans whether or not Joe Allen should replace the Dutchman.

The 17 year-old has impressed in the Carling Cup, producing two man of the match performances, so does he deserve a league start away at Cheltenham next Friday, and is he ready for the big step up?

Roberto Martinez also has other options including the more experienced Kristian O'Leary as well as Ian Craney and Matty Collins.

Give him (Allen) the 1st 60 mins and see how he goes. Then bring on Craney or Collins

Yes, for me its either put him in or move Britton inside, we need more creativity in the middle. If you're good enough you're old enough.

i wouldn't play him this early on in the season, i think he needs a little bit more experience in the first team through cup games, and then slowly bring him in, by putting him on the bench and bringing him on for 20 minutes at the end of games.

yea i think he shoud be subbed on after an hour...Craney deserves a place in the team because he was superb against reading. he has come in for alot of criticism but i think he has improved immensley and deserevs it. Yes Joe allen has been brilliant so give him a substitute appearance. We may have a problem in midfield when OTJ and darren way come back. we had a problem anyway but with the emergence of joe allen. what we gona do

I think Craney deserves a place in the team after his display against reading. I don't think Allen is up to the challenge that the league represents this early in the season allthough he is definately getting close. A few sub appearences and a couple more cup games and i think he will be ready.
