Swansea Sign Keeper Knight

Swansea Sign Keeper Knight

Swansea City have today completed the deal to secure the services of David Martin from Premiership side Middlesbrough

There have been rumours about the The former England Under-18 international being tracked by Martinez this week.

This was strengthened further with reports that the Keeper was at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night.

Knight has had loan spells with Oldham and Darlington but has failed to secure regular football at the Riverside.

Knight has only played in 5 competitive league matches and has conceded 10 goals during his loan spells with Oldham and Darlington.

With that in mind, it looks as if Knight will be spending most of his time here progressing and developing under the guidance of number 1 keeper Dorus De Vries and new goalkeeping coach IƱaka Bergara.

Will there be any more arrivals at the Liberty Stadium today? Keep Checking Back to Vital Swansea for all the news on Transfer Deadline Day....

He sounds like a good prospect allthough the 10 goals he conceeded are a bit worrying. How many games did it take when he let those goals in? As long as he progresses while he is at Swansea - We don't want another Willy!

it says, 10 goals conceded in 5 games on loan. i thought it was leon knight returning for a second then when i saw the headline! I was confused at first as we'd never have him back.

I thought it was leon knight as well. That would be strange but then Knight fell out with Jackett not Martinez so it could be possible.
