Bauza 'Goals Will Come'

Bauza 'Goals Will Come'

22 Year old Spanish Striker Guillem Bauza Mayol has vowed that the goals will come. Bauza has not yet scored in competitive action for the club since arriving from Espayol B in the summer.

The young Spaniard has netted for The Swans as he grabbed a brace against Dutch part time side Alphense Boys in the pre season tour of The Netherlands.

Despite talk of a new striker coming into the club , Mayol does not seem phased by remaining on the bench. He has highlighted the busy schedule with cup games as a positive. With so many games in the cups Mayol will get his chance to get valuable minutes on the pitch.

Guillem Mayol
Spoke To The Western Mail:

'"I`m training very hard, but this pre-season has been very different for me.'

I`m now in a good mood to start playing and do well.'

Every training session I`m looking to impress the manager and start games on the next Saturday.'

But it`s difficult because we have a good squad and good strikers.

The fans should not worry because sometimes you play well and don`t score, but the goals will come."

Mayol has performed well in the games he has featured in with Walsall showing what the striker can do. His ability to bring opposition defenders out of position and create space behind the defence is exellent and his work rate and ethic are first class.

What do you think of Mayol can he succeed in the British Game?
