Swansea Are Out Growing League One

Swansea City are out growing League One was the message from Striker Darryl Duffy today.

The former Hull City Striker has been in fine form since his permanant switch from the KC Stadium over the summer netting 5 goals. Duffy has also spoken about the departure of Lee Trundle for Bristol City Bayo Akinfenwa and Pawel Abbott.

Duffy
Told Sky Sports:

''It has been strange in a way to come back for pre-season to find an entirely new strike-force, with Lee, Adebayo Akinfenwa and Pawel Abbott gone.'

It certainly has been a busy time at the Liberty Stadium with the transfer market that has seen what can only be described as a wholesale change. These changes have effected every area of the Squad and have radically changed the style of play on the pitch.

Duffy was also quick to offer his views on the clubs direction and the new blood Martinez has brought into the club.
Duffy
Told Sky Sports:

'Our new guys are getting to know how each other play, and without doubt in Jason Scotland and Guillem Bauza Mayol, Swansea have two players of real quality who will certainly cause defences some problems.'

This is a huge club, and although the manager Roberto Martinez has not set us targets for the new season, there's a common belief that we are outgrowing this division and that this is a club geared towards Championship football.'

As the club face the 3rd season in League One since promotion day at Bury; Duffy's words seem to signal a huge desire to progress into the Championship.

The personnel are here both on the pitch and behind the scenes lets hope its 3rd time lucky.
