Aloisi's Sydney FC Talks Stall

Swansea City target and Australian striker John Aloisi has been unable to agree contract terms with Sydney FC.

The 31 year-old is on Martinez's list of possible strikers to replace Lee Trundle but a move to Swansea looked unlikely when he was keen to return to his home country.

However, after holding talks with Aloisi, Sydney FC have been unable to agree a salary and it looks like they have failed in their attempts to land the frontman.

Aloisi is out of contract after being released from Spanish side Alaves and it would be another coup if Martinez managed to lure him to the Liberty Stadium.

Martinez is certainly setting his sights high with Aloisi and especially Luke Moore, and while Moore is out of the question, Aloisi is a distant possiblity I suppose.

Trivia:

Aloisi appears on the front cover of Australia's version of Pro Evolution Soccer 6.

Alaves Record:

06-07: Games: 24, Goals: 6.
05-06: Games: 33, Goals: 10.

RM really needs to make a Centre Half his top priority!! whilst i'd like to see a big name Striker at the club i feel we need to get some reinforcments at the back. Duffy, Scotland, Bauza Mayol, Chris Jones are OK for now, if need be go back to Liverpool and get someone on loan! Go for Darren Moore, he's solid and reliable!

Would Darren Moore come though? He was a key player for Derby last season and he might wanna stay and play Prem footy, rather league 1, he might not be in the team at Derby though!

Liverpool may not want Darren Moore playing in the Prem and he certainly would not be allowed to play against them, and with Rafa being a pal of RM we would stand a good chance of getting him if he was not loaned back to Derby.

He is a permanant Derby player, not loanee.
