Britton Set To Sign New Deal

Leon Britton looks set to sign a new 3 year-deal with the Swans, keeping him here until 2010.

His current contract expires next season so the club are looking to quickly secure his services before he is available on a free transfer.

Britton is one of our most consist performers here at the Liberty. His run of top quality performances last season won him the Player of the Year award.

This is excellent news for the club and at only 24 year of age, he'll continue to improve each year.

The right winger scored in last night's friendly against Schipcuiden in Holland. Duffy scored the first as we won 2-0.

Our best player, glad to see he wants to play for us

He should be in the Championship. We can't afford to not make it there this season, we could lose even more of our top players then.

Great player we have to keep him.
