Bristol City Give Up On Trundle

Bristol City Give Up On Trundle

Bristol City manager Gary Johnson looks set to pursue other targets after failing to sign Lee Trundle.

The situation over our star striker has dominated internet message forums over the last few weeks as the Championship club made 3 or 4 bids for the 30 year old.

However, The Ashton Gate club failed to bid anywhere near the amount we value him and with add-ons we simply weren't going to get (Promotion to the Premiership) City didn't have much chance of signing him.

The Swans could add a fifth striker to their squad this week as trialist Ibrahima Thiam hopes he has earned a contract.

if they offered us all the money up front without the unrealistic add-ons they might have tempted us.

Even if they had tempted the club i dont think Trundle would have left as he has a special relationship with the fans at Swansea! Trundle will probably finish his career with the Swans!
