According to our latest poll, Swansea City fans are most excited about new recruit Ferrie Bodde.
The former Ado Den Haag midfielder got 25% of the vote, narrowly beating Trinidad and Tobagen striker Jason Scotland (20%).
Poll Results:
Ferrie Bodde 25%
Matty Collins 4%
Guillem Bauza Mayol 8%
Angel Rangel 5%
Jason Scotland 20%
Not sure yet 1%
Dorus De Vries 14%
Paul Anderson 12%
Darryl Duffy 11%
Swans fans have so far had the chance to watch the new signings in 2 pre-season friendlies in Wales, and unsurprisingly Bodde has heaped praised from many fans for his performances.
Unfortunately, Jason Scotland has missed the games against Neath and Llanelli because of an injury but he definitely return for the opening game of the season, away to Oldham on 11th August.
Paul Anderson also looks a very good prospect, scoring 2 goals against Ostersunds as he partnered Trundle up front in that game. He also scored in the 5-1 win against Neath.
Like Anderson, Darryl Duffy has also scored 3 goals in the Summer friendlies.
So has Roberto Martinez strengthened enough in all 4 areas? Let us know by voting in our new poll.
Personally, I think we need a strong, reliable and experienced defender. I think we currently lack this at the moment. Garry Monk isn't a leader I don't think or a first teamer for that matter.
Rangel is a full back and while Alan Tate can play in the centre, I think he's been poor whenever he's played there.
Painter is most likely to start at left back with Austin competing for a centre back place.
Steven Watt is also fit and available but I think Martinez is looking to send him on loan.
