Swansea Turn Down Trundle Bids

The club have turned down multiple offers for talisman striker Lee Trundle.

Trundle has had rumours attached to him leaving all summer long with Bristol City being the strongest around forums including Vital Swansea's.

It is thought that Bristol City Chairman Steve Landsdown has been in contact with the club.

This is not the first time in pre-season that the striker has been linked with a move away from the club. A bid from Sheffield Wednesday was turned down a few years back and a possible move to Portsmouth failed to come through.

Bristol City Chairman Steve Landsdown told the Western Daily Press:

'We have had a conversation with Swansea, but there is nothing further to report at this moment in time.'

Vital Swansea understands that there have been bids from the Aston Gate based outfit have been turned down by Swansea City.
It is also understood that Bristol City are offering a 6 figure sum to lure the Striker to Aston Gate.

Trundle is very much a part of Roberto's plans and his leaving of the club is very much a remote possibility.

The player concerned has always stated he would like to play in the Championship with Swansea City and is very loyal to the club.

Is this the last we have heard of the Trundle saga? Not likely.

would be interesting to see how much they've bidded so far. I think they'll have to bid at least £700k to get us thinking about selling. They won't but if they offered £1m i'd take it.
