Cardiff City Not In For De Vries

Cardiff City Not In For De Vries

Swansea City Target Dorus De Vries is not been targeted by Cardiff City according to the latest reports.

It had been thought that Cardiff City were trying to bring Dorus De Vries to Ninan Park. These fears were allayed today by Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale.

Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale told:The Western Mail

'"I`m sorry, but I genuinely haven`t heard the name before.

We have talked about a lot of goalkeepers over the summer, but that name has never cropped up.

The suggestion we are even interested in him, never mind in a battle with someone else to sign him, well, it`s way off target."'

This is good news indeed as we desperately need to add a goalkeeper to the Squad for next season.

Lets hope Martinez can secure his services he is a quality keeper.

Allthough i am pleased to hear this news i am struggling to believe that he has never heard of him before! If they were genuinly looking fo another keeper then you would check every available one as well as ones you are interested in! Is this just a ploy of Cardiff's to try and lure us into a false sense of security?
