O'Leary Set To Join Cheltenham?

A third Swansea City player could be leaving this Summer after Cheltenham Town have offered Kristian O'Leary a 3-year deal.

The midfielder, our longest-serving player at the club, (12 years), could well make a move to Whaddon Road with the prospect of having a key role to play with the Robins.

John Ward was impressed with the 29 year-old as he had a spell on loan with the club at the end of 2006.

With Bodde's signing and a host of other midfielders at the club, O'Leary could well find himself low down in the pecking order next season.

I think O'Leary may well be tempted to join Cheltenham providing that their contract offer is a better one that what we've offered (which it most probably is).

I'm expecting him to leave this summer along with Izzy Iriekpen. Scunthorpe and Southend are both interested in him apparently.

I'd like to see him go, he hasn't played to the high standard we know he's capable of this year and has made far too many costly mistakes in my opinion. He also seems like he has a disruptive attitude and his arrest last year nearly ended his Swansea career.

Having played for Cheltenham allready once this year Kris may be tempted to leave as he was a regular while he was on loan there and he will probably be a squad player for us.
