Bean hoping for permanant move

After scoring his first goal for the Swans during the 2-2 draw at Rotherham on Saturday, he now hopes to join the club on a permanant basis.

'If it was just down to me, the way I'm feeling at the moment, I'd definitely sign. I'd love to stay.'

'But there are obviously other people involved. There's the gaffer at Swansea, the gaffer back at QPR and possibly other clubs.

'I haven't spoken to (Rangers boss) Ian Holloway. I've had no contact with QPR, which is a bit disappointing from my point of view. But that contributes to my feeling that it might be time for me to move on.

'I'm just going to keep playing my game and, if the manager is happy with me, we'll see what happens.

'There are goals to be had from the midfield at Swansea and I'm a bit disappointed I haven't got on the scoresheet before.

'But, generally speaking, I feel I'm doing all right.'

He also mentioned to the Western Mail about Wednesday's rejected bid for Trundle, saying he hasn't really talked about it that much: 'No-one has really talked about it, Lee hasn't brought it up - I roomed with him on Friday night and he didn't have much to say about it.

'He's happy at Swansea and, from what I hear, he's got no intention of moving. '
