74% Predict Automatic Promotion

In our recent poll, 74% of our viewers think we can gain automatic promotion next season.

Swansea City fans seem confident that Roberto Martinez is the man to get us out of this League for the third attempt.

16% think we'll reach the play-offs, 5% voted we'll finish only in mid-table and 5% say we'll finish in the bottom half.

It'll a tough test for the Spaniard in his first ever management role, especially with the new clubs joining League 1 next season such as Leeds, Southend and Luton.

Martinez also commented on future new signings and said:

'While I can't reveal the names of the possible new faces just yet, I'm getting closer every day,''

'And I can guarantee you that some things are worth waiting for.

'I'm really excited about finalising the squad and working with those players who want to be part of it.

'We've got a big challenge ahead of us, especially with the calibre of teams like Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Southend, Luton and Millwall to compete against.

'It's going to be a very competitive league and we will have to be at our very best to be successful.

2 goalkeepers (gueret out plz), 1 midfielder probably bodde, defender, striker. kind of depends who goes and stay out of the out of contract lot.

I think 4 a GK, 2 Def and a Striker (Duffy) should put us in a position to challenge for at least play offs or better, but I suppose it depends on how much money is available.

I dont think we can expect better than league one again if we keep faith with Willy between the sticks. A little bit of pace up front and a strong defender and well be right up were we deserve to be - the championship and possibly pushing for a play off place!
