Who Should Stay This Summer?

Who Should Stay This Summer?

While Martinez wants the players to concentrate on trying to get the club promoted this season, we'd like to know who you think should stay and go this Summer.

9 players' contracts expire in June and they are:

Izzy Iriekpen, Kristian O'Leary, Kevin Austin, Andy Oakes, Shaun MacDonald, Garry Monk, Steve Watt, Chris Jones and Adebayo Akinfenwa.

Both Iriekpen and Oakes have both stated they are unsure over their futures but who would you like to see retained?

Should we sell other players who are contracted beyond this year?

Out of the 8 players listed, I think we should definately offer new contracts to Izzy Iriekpen and Kristian O'Leary.

Kevin Austin's age is helping him and Garry Monk was very poor prior to his injury.

Regarding the youngsters Shaun MacDonald and Chris Jones, I'd imagine they would be kept on for now but they could do with more experience and should be loaned out.

I haven't seen much of Andy Oakes and I think Willy Gueret needs to be replaced.

Ian Craney also hasn't been impressive since he's arrived in my opinion and I think Jackett wasted £150,000 with that signing.

Pawell Abbott is another player who is turning out to be another Rory Fallon and I think we should sell for a decent fee.

Regarding who we should buy, I definately think we should make a move for Darryl Duffy who is currently on loan from Hull.

He's scored 4 goals in 3 starts and I'm confident he could get 20 goals or more for us next season.

O'leary looked solid on Saturday and I think he can still do a job for us, decent squad player. Austin is also solid but old and slow. Not sure on the youngsters, they need to go out on loan though for match experience. I reckon we should look to sell abbott and craney but only for transfer fees and use it to buy darryl duffy.

Can't afford to sell the likes of Abbott and Craney without fees although I'd like to see them go, can't see it happening though. watt i think is close to returning from injury now, maybe he'll play for the reserves tomorrow.
