Reserves Could Face Fallon

The Swansea Reserves side could come against a former player this week when they face Plymouth on Wednesday night at Port Talbot's Remax Stadium.

Since his quite unbelievable 300,000 move to Plymouth, the same ridiculous price that Jackett paid for him a year ago, the striker has found it difficult to nail down a place thanks to the current form of his team-mates.

Pilgrims boss Ian Holloway said: 'It is an occupational hazard. If you have got a team that is winning, then you stick with it.'

'There is nothing wrong with him and he is a different option. In certain games, I have not needed that option or somebody else has kept him out.

'He was bought for the future. He has been given the rest of this year and two years more and that is what it is all about.'

He also added regarding his Reserve team: 'I deliberately weakened the reserve team to have a look at some of the lads coming up for contract negotiation.

'There are one or two who need to play and it may be [Ashley] Barnes and Rory.'

The match on Wednesday kicks off at 7pm and is the Reserves' last game in the Pontin's Holiday combination.
