Swansea Await News On Painter Injury
Swansea City are waiting to hear the news on Painter's leg injury that he suffered on Saturday.
The reliable left-back came off at half-time with a fibula injury and Martinez said: 'We are very concerned about Marcos, he's going to go to the hospital to find out about the injury.'
'There is a problem in his right fibula and that was the big negative in our win,'
'We hope that Marcos can get back very, very soon and we'll look forward to the next game with the bravest face we've got.'
Painter, signed from Birmingham City after an impressive loan spell, has been consistently solid since he arrived and it'll be a huge blow to the team if he misses the remainder of the season.
