Player of the Year - Leon Britton

In our recent poll, 83% voted Leon Britton as Swansea City's 2006/2007 player of the season.

It's no surprise really as the right winger has played consistently throughout the season and has provided nothing less than 100% effort and commitment ever since he's been at the club.

Other contenders were:
Alan Tate 4%
Lee Trundle 4%
Andy Robinson 2%
Dennis Lawrence 5%
other 2%

The Evening Post is again running the official Player of the Year award and you can cast your vote by visiting their website here

You can also send your vote to Swans Player of the Year, Sports Desk South Wales Evening Post, Adelaide Styreet, Swansea SA1 1QT.

Voting closes on Tuesday 1st May.

The contenders are:

Kevin Austin
Leon Britton
Alan Tate
Marcos Painter
Lee Trundle

Our new poll asks you how many points you think we'll get from our remaining two games as we travel to Carlisle next Saturday and face Blackpool at home on May 5th.
