'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bristol vs Swansea Match Reaction

Roberto Martinez says his side are showing the type of form that will get them a play-off place.

He said: 'We created 15 chances against Bristol City, and that sort of performance will give us the points we deserve,'

'We created many chances from different departments. There were many positives.

'But we want to win games, so we can't be happy with just the performance at this stage of the season.'

'Our concentration levels were excellent throughout the match and we created a number of good chances,'

'In November it would have been a very good performance and result for us. But in our current position we cannot be satisfied with any draw.

'I am not concerned about the chances we missed. I would be worried if we were not creating the openings. If we continue to do so we can reach the play-offs.'

He also looked ahead to tomorrow's game and added: 'It's a fantastic opportunity for another three points,'

'It's going to be a completely different scenario, and a very demanding game because it comes 48 hours after another game.'

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson was sent to the stands for the first time in his managerial career after running onto the pitch to kick the ball away from Iriekpen as his side tried to take a quick free kick.

He said: 'I didn't think it was a red card tackle. I won the ball fair and square,'

'I can only apologise and take whatever punishment comes my way. Managers shouldn't go on to the pitch, but there was nothing malicious about what I did. I just wanted to get on with the game.

'We were aware that Forest were losing in the second half and it meant we didn't go gung-ho for the win. As it turned out a point was a very good result for us.'
