Ricketts Back Duffy To Be A Hit

Former Swansea full back Sam Ricketts has backed new loan signing Darryl Duffy to be a hit at the Liberty.

He said: 'He is definitely good enough,''

''He can run off the likes of Lee Trundle, who tends to come deep for the ball, and score goals for Swansea.

''He's still learning the game, but it's a good move for him.''

''He is a good player but hasn't had many chances to show what he can do at Hull,' said Ricketts. ''He did really well at Hartlepool on loan and I am sure he can be a hit at Swansea.

''He has a proven record in Scotland and he has terrific pace and he makes some great runs.

''He is looking to get some games under his belt and a few early goals will help settle him in nicely at Swansea.''

I'd expect Duffy to go straight into the starting line-up on Saturday to pair with Abbott up front.
