Monk Features Again For Reserves

Garry Monk played another 45 minutes for the Reserves today at Bristol Rovers and is leaning closer to making a return to the first team.

The Swans lost the game 1-0 as Sean Rigg scored the winning goal in the second half.

Kevin Austin, Shaun MacDonald and Richard Duffy also featured in the game.

Monk was happy with his progress and said: 'I was delighted to come through another 45 minutes,''

'I did pull my knee a bit, but it's nothing serious.

'The pitch was so uneven, we felt it was better I came off at half-time.

'But I'm edging closer to a first team comeback and I can't wait to pull that Swansea City shirt on again at the Liberty Stadium.''
