'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jenkins: We Won't Sack Jackett

After a 3-hour meeting with Jackett, chairman Huw Jenkins says he won't sack the Swansea manager.

He said: ''All of us, the players, the management and the fans, are feeling disappointed with the way things are going at the moment,'

''And everybody will have their opinion on players, managers, tactics and formations. That's football. But the overall thought is that keeping the club's structure intact is vital to our development over the next few years.

''Kenny has been here for three years and during that time we've had two successful seasons.

''This is the third year and perhaps we haven't moved on as we would have liked.

''But is that reason enough to rip up everything we have started over the last few years? We have come so far in the last four or five years that it's a difficult situation.

''Eventually it may be that we have to make a change, that we have to go backwards to go forwards.

no i disagree mate we are a compleatley difforent club conpared to then and just because we have come a long way in a short amount of time dosent mean we shouldent keep going forward we should have the hunger and determanaition to be bettering ourselfs all the time and t isent going to happen while our off the feild staff are gutless and afraid to do the rite thing.
