Jackett Misses Out On Award

Jackett Misses Out On Award

Surprisingly, Kenny Jackett has missed out on League One's January Manager of the Month award.

The Swans boss was on the 4-man shortlist along with Millwall's Willie Donachie, Russell Slade of Yeovil and Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll.

It was a shock to see him even in the shortlist as many fans are continuing to criticise Jackett, as debates continue on the forum as to whether he should stay or go.

Jackett reached the shortlist however after his side went unbeaten in the League and thrashed Sheffield United 3-0 in the FA Cup.

Sean O'Driscoll won the award as his Doncaster side won 3 games in 4 during January and along with Blackpool, they are putting pressure on the Swans who are currently hanging onto their play-off place in 6th.

Both sides have a game in hand over us and are only a point adrift, proving that Saturday's game against Oldham is certainly a must-win.
