Officials - Watford v Swansea (15/4/17)

The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Watford and Swansea City.

Watford host Swansea City on Saturday April 15 for the game at Vicarage Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Mason
Linesmen: H Lennard and I Hussin
Fourth Official: C Pawson

Match Day referee Mason has officiated 20 games in 2016/17 with a return of 72 yellow cards and two red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellows in the game between Leicester City and Middlesbrough in November. He also showed seven yellows and one red in the game between Manchester City and Burnley.

He took in 34 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 96 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Derby and Sheffield Wednesday in April with a total of nine yellows being shown. The Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough game in September saw eight yellows.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
