Millwall Reject Byfield Bid

Millwall Reject Byfield Bid

Millwall have rejected Swansea City's bid for striker Darren Byfield.

There has been strong rumours lately linking the striker with a move away from the Den, and the Swans were apparantly the front runners to sign him.

His agent, Steve Davies told SkySports: 'Swansea made an approach, but Millwall have now turned that down,'

'He is desperate to go back up north, but while he is at Millwall he will remain professional and keep scoring goals.

'At the moment, he is a Millwall player and while he is at the club, he is paid to score goals and that's what he will do.

'But he has made no secret of his desire to go back up north.'
